52 Portraits 05: My Mom! Mary Pearson
I still can’t believe it, but I somehow got my sweet mom, Mary Pearson, to sit down with me for this project and share a little of her story with the world. She has been through so much the past couple of years, losing both her sister and brother to cancer and needing triple bypass surgery among other things. We talk about how her devotion to her kids and her friends, along with her faith, helps her deal with massive grief, how anyone who shows love, caring, empathy, and understanding can be your teacher, and how forgiveness and small acts of kindness work to make the world a better place.
